Brodrick Road,

This garden had been left to ruin for several years and the client was keen on recreating a beautiful oasis of trees and planting in which he could enjoy his retirement,  sharing the space with as much wildlife as possible.

Using a large existing pear tree as our focus point, we designed a circular and organic theme with wild meadow turf encapsulated within ornamental trees, shrubs and gorgeous perennials.

WHAT

A complete re-invention of a garden that had been neglected for many years, with a focus on wildlife and natural beauty.

A wide access path meanders around and through the design for easy access to the borders where occasional bench seating has been placed in several areas for the client to be able to rest and admire the garden from different aspects.  Wildlife - friendly planting has been chosen for the plant palette along with bird baths and feeders to encourage the wildlife.  A generous terrace offers the ideal place to dine and entertain and the garden room has been equipped with potting table and tools as well as comfortable sofa seating for respite, whenever needed.  We designed this garden for an elderly gentleman and should the need ever arise, it is completely accessible and wheelchair friendly.
