Tantallon Road,
SW12

New painted and slatted battens were used on the horizontal plane to all boundaries to give an illusion of widening the space and large porcelain paving with planting cut-outs provided a clean and seamless level from the indoors to outdoors.  We went big and bold with all elements of this garden including 3 Malus Evereste Pleached Trees to the rear providing a gorgeous backdrop to a casual seating area. Over-sized Taxus Balls in groups of varying diameters provided a fabulous backbone to the garden and a limited palette of perennials added the splashes of colour to pick up on the blossom from the trees. Bulbs were used to extend the seasons for year round enjoyment.

WHAT

The Brief was to design a dark grey/black garden with a contemporary and fairly minimalist feel, complete with sofa seating, new fencing and improved privacy.
